Does anyone here use the DI out in their Kemper to record a DI for later reamping?

If so, do you find it as good as say a radial DI box or do you prefer a stand alone DI box?

I'm wondering if I need to buy a better DI box ( I have a cheap one currently)or just use the Kemper.

(Will be buying a radial reamp box)

I have not tried any re-amping yet with the Kemper but I am closing on a house in a few weeks. My plan is to finally get set up to re-amp.

My understanding is that the Kemper handles creating DI tracks quite well. Are you on the FB group? If not, you should be. I would ask over there for quick responses.

The Kemper D.I.is plenty clean to trust and use. But, everyone should have a nice D.I. like the Radial. Lots of uses like bass, keys, acoustics.

I'd rather not split the signal before the amp if plugging straight in. If you have pedals or a buffer in front then not as big of deal splitting. You'll have to experiment and find the sweet spot with your setup.

Old PODs are killer guitar D.I's when bypassed. The Kemper analog preamp is easily as good.

I also prefer the idea of not splittng my signal
many are using eleven racks, axe fx and kempers to do this, so I should be fine
most studios would probably swear by their expensive DIs though

I like the idea of recording over say a year, using the kemper, then reamping one time once finished
saves tubes and should keep the tone from changing over time + keeps the recording process separate from the creative process
