Hi!

I just did a profile and i compare it here.
Amp vs. Profile vs. Kemper w. Poweramp through miced (Iso) Cab

Here's the profiling process (Monitor - Cam sound)
(but you know this shit already...)

Cheers,
Simon

They all sound a touch different, I think the Kemper profiler amp with the poweramp and the speaker is the weakest of the 3. However, it'd be easier to hear if they were all the same level. The direct Kemper is way hotter

real amp sounds the best. The Kemper profile seems to have more forward mids. Kemper through pa into iso cab is muffled.

I fucked it up...sorry. I forgot to pan the profiled part....oh yeah....
But you get it almost similar.

profiler is a lil clearer a bit more hi fi BUT really good

Amp rawer .fuller by a bit

I dont hear a lot of modeller in it if that makes sense .

It sounds generally like the same amp you just dialed in differently

I agree. I like both and don't notice enough of a difference that I would care. Thanks for the comparison. I use my Kemper in a band and no one is the wiser. The thing I love about mine is the consistency of tone every time I plug in.

I don't really like the powered Kemper into the speaker at all.....however the other 2 are great! The real amp sounds a bit fuller, but more distant. The Kemper Profile direct sounds more up front and in your face....almost like you took the real amp and tweaked it for a studio mix.

Yes. I totally agree with that! :)

You're welcome:) Did you sell your Splawn Quick Rod? (I read it here, somewhere, that you used to have/use one)
Will i be able to dial a metal tone, somewhere in the area, like the one in the vid, in?
Tell me a bit about the Quick Rod :)
