Kemper - TopJimi Vox AC30/'68 Super Lead - Wild Flower

Holy cow! Was listening to some Cult yesterday and remembered how much I LOVE Billy Duffy's tone. Of course I do NOT have a hollow body but I think this AC30 tone is pretty bad ass.

These profiles are from TopJimi. As someone pointed out the other day, I sing TJ's praises but had not reviewed his profiles on his site or done any clips. Decided to put something together quickly.

I added the Green Scream boost for the mid-bump but dropped a little amp gain. The '68 Marshall Super Lead profile is bone stock.

Used the Mammoth Les Paul Custom for both guitar parts and my Ibanez BTB bass. Stole the drums from a GuitarPro midi tab and used the Slate Drums.

Profiles used were:
• TJ-68 SuperLead 5
• TJ-Vox AC30-MaxNrml

Awesome Jer! I have that TJ AC30 pack and I like it a lot too. My favorite is his Marshall 1974 Super Lead. One of the best sounding Marshall profiles to my ears.

Thanks man! The '74 Marshall Super Lead is the one that sold me on TopKimi. After going through the Marshall samples on his site, I settled on 4 I wanted. Ended up getting the WHOLE DAMN BUNDLE!!! It was more cost effective.

I never tried any AC30 type amps but those profiles smoke as well. Mine is the AC30 head pack, not the combo if that makes a difference ...

Thanks man. Yup, Green Scream gain was totally off. Just however it loaded when adding it in the "A" slot. Gave a nice midrange bump. I notched the gain on the profile down 1 led …

I love this profile. I am surprised and also agree, it could nail a lot of good hard rock sounds for sure.
