We're now at the tail end of the "pedal bubble" Casino and others have talked about on youtube.

Similar to the decadence at the end of the Roman Empire; instead of vomitoriums, we have limited edition, 600$ fuzzes for retards with jazzmasters.

If only the Romans that opened the gates for the vandals knew that offset shitters would claim their intellectual inheritance.

I hope all these morons who go and buy 10 of every hyped pedal to resell are stuck with them when the pedal bubble bursts. Have fun with a bunch of $600 boosts pedals that you cant get rid of

Reminds me of this…I saw this guys post the other day and was like WTF?

I had a Sputnik I&II.....I did not like them very much. A lot of people do.
I have a Bliss Factory....at one point they were going for about a $1000. I think they dropped down to the $600 range.

A lot of gear has gone up in price. I see some amps going for double what they were two years ago.
The entire economy has shifted. Take a look at the world economy.
Typically things go up about 3% a year.....it's way more than 3% things are changing.

Never heard of them. Not much of a pedal person. I was just shock that any pedal would go for that much.

But definitely true on gear prices going up. Sticker shock is in the early stages I’m afraid. Unfortunately, That’s what happens when you flood the economy with free cash and devalue the dollar While at the same time nuking production with shutdowns. Next we can look forward to higher taxes and higher interest rates!

Nailed it....I wasn't going to go into the politics...but that is exactly what it seems is happening. Just hope the dollar stays the world standard till after I am dead.

These individuals that are manipulating the prices of gear are black listed on my list of people I will deal with. I don't want to have anything to do with them.

What’s crazy is it’s not like there’s been any real change in wages. The stimulus is not so much that it would support such a major up shift in prices. Many people used the stimulus to pay debts/expenses, not a $600 pedal or an older amp that is now double what it was 3 years ago. Plus, with the cost of living, a couple of grand (multiple recipient household) lasts how long exactly? The prices may have gone way up but who is buying this shit who wasn’t flush or well off already? Just very glad I have pretty much what makes me happy already and I’m not chasing any piece of gear right now.
