I have that CD. It's pretty cool if you like that style. Extremely close to Dream Theater that many people call them a rip off. Well, at least it's like listening to Dream Theater without a crap singer.

Love these Guys Knut!!! Im really not a fan of progressive metal anymore but theres something about these guys that I just dig. Ralphie turned me onto them awhile ago and I liked them from the get go and got all of their albums. To me, their Like DT done right, better songwriting with better vocals...

Yeah, it`s kinda weird/funny, because most of Norway`s rock "exports" are black metal bands. It seems the melodic/progressive thing is coming now. The Swedes have been before us there, with the exception of TNT

Isn't Jorn Lande from Norway? I didn't know anything about him until recently and i can't believe it. He's one of the best rock singers I've ever heard. I'm stocking up on Masterplan and Jorn solos albums.
Right now, anything with cookie monster, growling, or screaming gets shut off. I need to hear great singers.

Norwegian, a very friendly fellow, and great singer.
We did a gig on the same festival as Masterplan once, and our bass player knew Jørn, so we dropped by his cabin to say hello (it was on a boat).
He also sang in Vagabond with Tekrø:

I posted a few times about these guys quite a long time ago.

He was hosting a show called "Singing bee" a while ago, but I believe they still play together. He also set up a Queen-show, where he sang, they did most of the Queen-catalogue. Supposedly also sounded great.

I have had this album since release....Love Maximus. Their first album is better though.....Also....Check out Seventh Wonder's Mercy Falls album......Super awesome!
