Killer K-Line Tele for sale on TGP!

Of course, I haven't played that Tele, but if it sounds as good as my K-Line strat, it's worth it. That's roughly the same price as a new Fender US Tele without the aging and I love me some aging... It also has higher quality pickups (lollar) and ten times more mojo than any new US Tele.

Just my opinion, of course. I can only go by what I read from other K-Line owners and what I know myself about MY particular guitar. But I wouldn't hesitate to take a "gamble" on that Tele for that price.

As a matter-of-fact, I'd sell both my SG Classic and my US Tele to get that K-Line if I could do it quick enough.

I would love to try one. I was eyeballing a K-line strat for sale just like yours on TGP. $900, I believe. That's more in line with what I expected, price-wise.

Can't say I agree about the mojo...'relic' mojo is fake mojo, IMO. That's not to say it wouldn't be a great guitar though. I just don't think the screwdriver marks and shoe polish add any mojo.

Funny line from that other K-line FS on TGP: "Some of the aging has worn off as I've played it." ROFL

They are awesome guitars, no doubt, but I just can't see a parts guitar having that sort of resale value. Of course, TGP is different......

Yeah, the whole "parts guitar" thing got me too at first. Seemed strange to pay $1,350 or something for a guitar that was pieced together from various parts. Then I realized that the K-Line dude pieced together very high quality parts, electronics, hardware, etc..., painted the guitar himself, then did killer aging on it, which produced the best sounding strat I've ever heard. I'm not even kidding, this guitar is awesome. It even stays in tune when I do dives with the vintage style trem.

A "real" custom shop fender relic made from the same parts would cost $3,000 or more, so I no longer consider $1,350 a high price to pay.

Mine also has a "blend" feature. You can use the back tone knob to blend in any amount of the bridge/neck single coils, which is cool.

I want to check that out. I think I told you that Gravity Strings is no doing these guitars too, right. Lollars, vintage paint, aging. They have a sweet daphne blue one hanging there now!

They are incredibly sexy guitars. I always try and forget about them because everytime Im reminded of them I gas hard.
