Killer Kali ++ mod: ORDERED

All,

Living in the same city as the great Dan Gower (who is a total gent, by the way), I thought it would be frankly criminal of me not to order a modded Marshall (the only tone I haven't quite got "covered" right now). So I have: Dan will source a late '70s JMP or early '80s JCM 800 and give it the single channel Kali ++ mod. Should sound massive.

I will document the process (to the extent Dan's happy with that) on this thread. STOKED!

I sent my amp over and had no problems, yeah I had about $300 in shipping and fees but was well worth it. I have a Friedman BE-100 and these two amps are very different but both great!

What took you so long?

Gower is the best thing going since sliced bread. At least he is in the same hemisphere as me. I have one of his mods now, and he is working on my K++ now. If I thought there was profit to be made in the amp mods market, I would buy Dan! His work is that good. Once you get your amp back and let the ears do the work, have a peek inside and you will see what I am talking about. His detail and workmanship is second to none. He trained well and uses it.
