Just picked this up. It's a Scott Dixon 4x12 loaded with Celestion Century Vintage speakers. Front baffle is fiberglass and enclosure is made of aluminum. Cab weighs 44 pounds without the front cover. 52 pounds with the front cover. I carried it upstairs with one hand. How does it sound???? Killer.

whole interior is covered in the grey foam. Underneath that is a layer of thin white foam type material and then the aluminum skin.

Sounds awesome, never seen anything like it.

Tell me about the Celestions ...

how much do those go for? I don't see any pricing on the website.

that is fucking cool ! I agree if it sounded great then wow !

I'll post a comparison clip tomorrow if I get a chance.

The Scott dixon guitar cases like that deform horribly on tour I wonder if that cab will too.

I prefer the almighty cabinets that bestronics owns now.

As the story goes walls of jerico designed and made them then sold the patent , thing is I found a cabinet just like this from the early 70s so I doubt the really came up with it and had seen one somewhere and ran with it.

I think the idea is great
I think the cab with the front panel looks great
I think the front grill is fugly

Hopefully the light aluminum can withstand road abuse

Whoa! Great idea. It does look a bit fugly but I am sure the use and function trump that.

The benefit with these cabs to me are ultra light weight, sound very good to me(subjective), are more weather proof than damage proof and I think they look cool (WAY subjective LOL!).
I would like to have another to match. I would prefer if it were a straight cab I'm cool with the slant.
