LOVE IT! However, it really sucks that the Custom Shop throws a $1000 penalty on anyone other than the Music Zoo that requests a 21 fret neck with that profile... Pisses me off...

Wow, I didn't know about that...insane mark-up and unfair to the other dealers IMO. That said, I have no clue why anybody would want 21 frets when they can have 22 since it doesn't change anything structurally (like a 24 fret neck does) and adds the high D which is very nice to have when soloing in A.

That Rhoads model is off-the-hook cool...love it!

Yeah, when I was ordering my Custom Shop, I originally specified a 21 fret neck and I was quoted $1000 more for the guitar than if I ordered it with a 22 fret neck because it is some kind of "Music Zoo exclusive". Buncha crap. It sucks because it puts any other dealer at a big disadvantage. Music Zoo sells those Nitro Relics for $2999 and will deal from there.

Personally, I dig the look of the 21 fret necks and I honestly don't miss the extra fret. If I need 22 for something, I'll grab one with a 22 fret neck...

Love that relic one...
Oh, I want it BAD! I wouldn't pay what I know Brad has to charge for it because of the "Music Zoo" penalty though...

When "less" is "more". I didn't know that either. Thanks for passing that tidbit on.....

Brad, your lucky your shop is all the way up in RI.. Otherwise I'd be in your shop every week grubbing and playing on all your guitars
