Hey Guys,

Help me name my shop.

Just a little focus group here. Trying to settle on the final name for my new shop and wanted to see what you guys thought.

The choices are

www.KingGuitar.com

&

www.Tone-King.com

I own both URLS's, Which do you like best? Your constructive thoughts are appreciated.

Tone king would confused with that guy that calls himself that and has all the shitty Youtube videos of him playing all those crappy riffs on crappy settings on mostly crappy amps and he gets invited to NAMM and let in before anyone else and well...

another vote for king guitar brad, tone king is cool ,but it reminds me of the you tube guy

There is an amp brand "Toneking". It sounds too close to an already established name. I actually dig the Toneking Metropolitan amp quite a bit.

King Guitar sounds better. Sounds more like a sole proprietor shop that you would have a more personalized level of service.

Thats Mark Bartel at Tone-King amps, he is a friend and I will carry his line of amps for sure.

First thing I thought of when I heard tone king. To much exposure from that guy already, and mostly not that great when it actually comes to tone, not the guy, cool he does the demos and all, but he can't record or dial in much for being the king of tone

He is all over the net demoing gear. On one hand, its really great that he takes the time to show tons of different amps, pedals and the like, and generally is a likeable dude. However, his audio and playing is pretty horrendous and isn't much of usable demonstrations. So I think that name kinda instantly sparks mediocre in the minds of people. If he wasn't so out there, it would be a different thing, but he is pretty well know.

The Tone King is already taken. Some douche who has a knack of making everything he plugs into sound like a solid state 1x10 combo. Not good. DEFINITELY stick with King Guitar. It's sounds more high-end anyway.

Guitar King sounds more natural, but yeah, Toneking is taken..... you REALLY don't wanna associate yourself with that guy. Nice dude, but terrible at what he does.

King Guitar for sure!

Hey you could sell cort guitars and call that section of the store "the King's Cort"

or bad horsie wah pedals "All the kings Horses"

Just messin with ya, I really do like King guitar better. It is just classier.
