Anyone use Kirlin cables? I like braided cables and they are half the price of Ernie Ball or others. Guitar Center has limit selection, so at least I know they are a real company with product. Just don't know if they are any good.

Haven't used them but they seem plenty nice. 20AWG is good. Braided shield is good. Hopefully it is all tinned.

I had purchased 2 of them from Amazon a while back.. here's what I noticed the difference compared to my Mogami 2524 instrument cables. both same legths.

These were them:

These are my findings (felt and heard):
- Connectors felt cheap. They had a plastic housing. Felt they were gonna fall apart with constant usage or even if something was to accidently go over them like a foot, caster wheel, etc..
- I found a noticable increase in the high end.. it was sorta that buzzy high end frequency.
- cables tangled up real fast BUT with a simple "cable whip" it went back to a stright run

New findings:
- Looking on their website today, their line up of cables has grew. I recall when the only had less than a handlful of cables to pick from.

hope that helps and good luck.

That's probably enough to keep me away. I don't mind spending $10 more for the Ernie Balls, but I was looking for a10Ft that was different from my blacked out ones and wasn't crazy pink, lime green, or orange (like the EBs). EB makes much better color selection in its 25 fts.

Just make your own
