Just a quit "review" of sorts. I wasn't going to see KISS one last time because I saw them two years ago. My friend has never seen them so I took her and it was a blast!! I've seen them probably six times before this and this definitely was #1 or #2. Sounded great and a lot of great things going on with the stage show where you always felt like a part of the action.

I have never heard explosions as loud at a concert as I did last night. I am including previous KISS shows, AC/DC, etc. in that. I could feel it in my chest and at one part, and not joking, I thought my left eardrum blew. I told my friends I felt like a B-17 was dropping bombs on our location. It was great!! The band was joking with each other and really looked like they were taking it all in and enjoying this last ride. I can truly say as a lifelong KISS fan, it gave me that great last show closure. Definitely recommend seeing them if you are a fan and on the fence.

I left the show deaf and covered in shredded paper that was all over the venue. No other way to end a KISS show.

Nice!

One of Darrell's favorite lead guitarists. The Space Ace with the best hard rock garage band to ever come out of the Bronx in '73 to date - pop and sales.

I didn't see that but I know that they were using some backing tracks. At first I was like "noooooooo!!!", especially since they are one of those bands that invented the big rock show. The more I thought about expecting a 70 year old to sing every song like it is 1976 again for a two year tour, the more I realized that is impossible.

I always tell my friends at work that KISS is more like going to the Circus or a cult stage performance like Rocky Horror Picture Show. You know they are going to do the blood spitting, fire breathing, etc. and there isn't a lot of surprises so to speak. There are all these parts of the show that you are waiting for and already know they are going to happen. :)

For me, when I saw the original members perform in 2000 on the "Farewell Tour", I thought I was done seeing them. But then I saw them two years ago and was awesome. This show even beat that one. I miss having Ace and Peter up there but good to say goodbye to the band and have them playing so good. Tommy and Eric keep everything tighter but it is a trade-off obviously.

I considered going too but opted not to at the last minute. Glad you enjoyed it and got out of it what you expected. Kiss was the reason I picked up the tennis racket in the first place. :D

I almost didn't go too. A friend from high school was supposed to take one of my other friends and he backed out. She had never seen a show and I felt bad for her but also felt like it would be cool to see them one last time.

I contemplated seeing this show either in Toronto or Darien Lake but too many other late summer commitments. Plus tickets were pricey. Plus I don’t believe Gene when they say it’s the “final” tour

I saw them the last tour with Motley Crüe. The show was awesome, one of the best I’ve seen. Yes, at this point you are basically watching Kiss, The Broadway Musical, but it’s still awesome. My wife who isn’t even a big fan of this music had a great time.

I’m holding out for one more show with Ace at least on guitar.

I saw the tour earlier this year. It was my first time seeing them, though I've been a fan since Asylum. They put on a great show. I will second the pyro was out of this world. The band is incredibly tight. Yes, Paul is clearly using backing tracks, he can hardly speak, yet sings perfectly. Eh, so what. It's like the largest production, broadway, Kisspectacular one could ever hope to see.
