I have rebuilt this wonderful old German amp.
Here are some pics that show what it looked like before I put my soldering iron in it:

This is not the correct way to replace a fuse :D

It’s a four input, one channel amp where all four inputs sound different;
input 1: bright hi-gain, input 2: normal hi-gain, input 3: bright low-gain, input 4: normal low-gain.
The amp has the following controls: gain, master volume, treble, middle, bass and presence.
I’ve also installed a tube buffered effects loop.
The preamp tubes in this amp are ECC808 which compared to ECC83/12ax7 have lower noise, symmetric inner construction and lower microphonics but has the same characteristics as the ECC83/12ax7 (different pinout).
For this amp project, I’ve focused to get extreme dynamics and tons of attack in the sound.
You can play anything just dialing the volume on the guitar.

For these two clips, I’m playing through input 1, guitar straight into the amp.

Guitar: Greco EGF-1000.
TC G-major in the loop for some delays.
Cab: Malmberg 4×12 with old Greenbacks.
Mics: Golden Age R1 mkIII, Tascam DR-40

Shezam! One of the best modders with such consistent product and raw greasy crunchy tone. Amazing as usual. Is this one going to be for sale as well?Seems like you can turn a steaming pile of shit into a fire breather. Do you always use the original transformers that come with the amps?

Awesome sounding amp, and tasty playing! Even the delays sound awesome.

of course, totally epic!!! I WILL own one of your amps someday soon. IMO, the best mods out there.

Thank you! This one was sold a few minutes after I uploaded the video on youtube, one of my previous customers saw it and contacted me immediately and bought it. I'm working on four different Marshall amps at the moment that I will put up for sale when they are finished. Yes, I always use the original transformers but I always tweak the power amp to sound the way I want to regardless of transformers.

Thank you! I'm using a TC G-major in the first video and a TC G-major II in the second video.

Hmm, I guess this will be his next project :D

:D :D :D
The Dynacord amps are quite similar to the Klemt amps but I haven't modified anyone (yet).
