Wanting to upgrade the tuners on my Les Paul. Don't want to add weight to the headstock. Don't need locking, but could really benefit from a higher ratio and (hopefully) more stability.
Which ones should I look at? Schaller or Kluson?

I want the buttons to be the traditional keysone shape, but the least snot-green they can be, the better. I also want the same footprint as the the Gibson Deluxe tuners.

Opinions?

Yes, the Kluson Revolutions are badass, the Keystone buttons are a clearish yellow type that look awesome. I replaced the shitty Schallers on my Hamer Korina V with them and couldn't be happier, and also just took delivery of another set in nickle for a different project (both sets ae non-locking, paid under $60 shipped for them)

Score right here....$16 less than I just paid!

Thank you.

Do you have any Gibsons with the stock Gibson Deluxe Ping-made tuners? How would you compare them?

Yes, and the Revolution’s are substantially better than any of the stock Gibson tuners and the buttons look 100% better. Your other option is an old stock set of TonePros Klusons if you can find them, more likely on the used market
