i may be about to sound like an idiot, but i'm pretty sure my laboga mr.hector switches from tube and diode rectification.

and i know it switches to half wattage.

shows how long it's been since i used it.

This is right. Mr. Hector switches between diode and tube rectification and from 100W to 50W on the front panel. Dual master vol switchable too

I actually believe that the 50 watt Recto doesn`t have a tube rectifier.
The manual doesn`t show it.
But I was also under the impression it had (since it is called a Rectifier, and the other two models DOES )

It`s also only able to run 8 and 4 ohms, while the Dual and Triple have 16 ohms outputs as well.

My Roccaforte Vintage Ultra has a tube rectifier, effects loop and it is a 50 watt amp (runs 2 EL34's but it can run 6L6's too).
