Anyone have experience with both?

Looking for sonic differences between the two, what you found better or worse feature wise. I know the footprint, cost, etc. is better on the Reloaded, but mostly curious about sound.

Thanks.

I loved all the demo tones of the original Koko, so I bought a Reloaded - and sold it right away. It had way too much gain, compared to the more subtle original Koko.

They (Suhr) say that the re-loaded only has 6db more gain...that's way too much ?

Neither knob on my original rarely ever go over 9:00. That is when starting with roughly a JCM800 level of amp gain to start. I wouldn't need the extra gain from the Reloaded.

I do use a Shiba Reloaded though.

The original is fine. It does not need the extra gain IMO!! great pedal!!

I'm asking about it 'cuz the re-loaded is 50 bucks cheaper...and it's smaller to boot...

It's going to be hitting the front end of a moddded JMP so I don't need much in the way of gain boost. I'm just looking for something with a buffer that's a little nicer than the Soul Food I'm using now. Seems either one would work just fine.

Get the original.. I also agree, more than enough gain if you can hit your 800 with a reasonable output pup and some volume. Mine never goes over 10 o clock.

I have both. They are pretty much the same IMO. At least how I use them.
