Does anyone know where I can track down a replica Kramer Nightswan Neck? I've looked for a few weeks now and all the replicas (especially from china) are more aimed towards a banana shape EVH style. I've had a look at Ed Roman who's quoted well over 1200$ for a custom neck which is very out of budget. I don't need to have the pingpong ball fret markers, the most important part is quality and the head stock being the correct shape!

Cheers!

good luck I have not seen any for sale in years. there was a time when there were 2 on Fleabay at the same time I think they went real fast at between 12 and 13 hundred.

I don't have any first hand experience with this builder. He's a member of the Kramer forum and people seem to really like his work.
He used to work at a shop with my buddy where he did paint. I understand his paint work was great.

Scroll just about halfway down...

Hope this helps!

A fellow guitarist in a band I was in had a Nightswan back in like 2002. He got the whole guitar for like 650$.

Those necks will be very hard to find in 2016.25 yrs ago you couldn't give them away fast enough.Get on the Kramer forum and ask.i bet someone has one lingering around in an unfinished project..Theres a dedicated thread just for nightswans.Ive owned 4 of them.Recently nabbed an early knapp lightning paint job. They sound killer with their Honduras mahogany/ebony..but like was said, the necks are the skinniest ive seen....borderline un-playable.but to each their own I guess

Warmoth can make it, but the headstock is more of a banana shape, they do the 24.75" scale and the inlays, good luck on the 1.5" nut width though...skinny skinny skinny

Hmm might be wishful thinking but I'm hoping I can find a builder who can make one with more of a jackson/charvel profile

The original prototypes were actually made with Warmoth parts. Sorry for the nightswan necro post, but I'm on Warmoth's newsletter list and just recently read this---> link.

That's pretty cool. Warmoth was one of the few selling bodies and necks in the 80s so it makes sense to use their parts for a prototype.
