KSE reamp continued: Herbert V30 vs M65. *Rev F added *

Continuing my little reamp session, I thought it would be cool to compare these 2 speakers in the same cab, as I see lots of comments about both. Keep in mind mic placement etc is as close as I could get in the same spot. Also, 2 different unidyne sm57s were used, and they sound different, like all the vintage ones do. reamp nerd stuff. V30 vs creamback. Both have their perks. Perfect example of sometimes the vibe or track just prefers one over the other, nothing is absolute. Diezel Herbert, engl 4x12 creamback/V30 X pattern, unidyne SM57, maxon 808 up front, empress parametric EQ in loop, no midcut. Enjoy! Creamback

Sounds good. I didn't hear a huge difference between the two, though, but my ears likely suck in this applicaiton.

Haha it’s nerd stuff for sure! But they are very different sounding speakers for sure.
