Is that the one where he picks out stuff from the used section?

No,
Sweetwater gives them $5000.00
Kyle did a Fender Tele/a Mesa Combo and a few pedals

The $5000 is all in to build the rig.
Picks,cables,amp,guitar,pedalboard etc.

Did you also get to customize the candy included? ?

Jokes aside congrats man!!
Thanks dude. It was a really fun experience for me. That was my first time there and they treates me like gold. When they asked me to come out, they wouldn't reveal what it was for so I had no idea what I was showing up for, haha. But they couldn't have been more cool and they have been a great company to work with for me, very supportive of my ideas and they don't every try to make me push bullshit on my viewers, which is an instant no-no for me

Yeah sweetwater reps helped me setup my studio equipment to make sure I had all that I needed and cut me really nice deals given the amount of money I was investing. I like guitar center for their used market deals but I prefer sweetwater for new item expertise which I don’t mind paying a bit more to relieve any risk of wrongdoing piecing things together on my own research.

just wish SW did more deals; my former rep (for over 10 years) got promoted to management; while he was my rep we would always work out some kind of deal. Not sure if it's new policy now, but my "new-to-me" rep doesn't like to negotiate.

I have a rep at MF that I worked with for several years; she can usually do discounts off sale, they have holiday sales, expedite shipping if need it, easy returns, and then there are the membership points. She also lets me know when they get things in that I'm interested in.

Also have a guy at Pro Audio Star I work with.

you should have said "what would my rig-talk homies recommend?" then proceed to go with a jcm800 stack and a bunch of pedals. Then whatever guitar you could afford with the money you had left as long as it has a floyd. Then be like "Yeah this is my motherfuckin country rig...you didn't specify what country bitches!!!" Then all us rig-talk homies would be like...so stunning,so brave.....just sayin....

Man,
Thats way cool

Oh and all the candy we can stuff in a 12 space road case.
Instant Halloween

Yeah they told them both they get to keep it all at the end of the video.
We got to keep the example rig, not the rigs that we put together but yeah, I still have everything here at the house. It's the only telecaster I own and that doctor Z amp just sounds f****** amazing haha

Total waste of time having Kyle and Perfecto put together country rigs.
Get 'em back, and have them do Hi-Gain!!!!! WTF???
That's what we want to see.....duh. Come on, Sweetwater!

What's the difference between the example rig and the rig you put together?
