The first thing I have to say is I need to work chops. I've listened to it 3 times now and I'm amazed how articulate his playing is while shredding and super-shredding. And I like how he doesn't shred for long periods of time - he just seems to constantly flirt with speed as a part of his style which seems unique to me. I hear a lot of Hungarian Minor in his playing (which I really dig) with a lot of cool solos over progressive metal riffs. And he doesn't seem to have anything "typical" in his phrasing.

The guitar tones are cool and the bass player is a monster.

This isn't the kind of thing I usually listen to, but it's refreshing to hear someone do something different while showing elite chops. If you haven't heard his stuff it's definitely worth checking out.

Hey Lance - Great Job!

When did this happen?

This cd is sick! Lance is am awesome player and this is a great cd. Production is great too.

OK - I just did a search and I now realize Lance didn't start a thread stating his disc was available. My bad.

I downloaded it from this site http://lugosismile.bandcamp.com/ a few weeks ago. It took me this long to figure out how to burn it to disc...so I guess I'm the r-tard.

Yep I got this CD from Lance and he is seriously bringing the heat. Personal favorite is Longfang. Vibrato is aggressive. Tone is smooth but with plenty of gain. What grabs me most is how cleanly he plays blazing runs. Clearly Lance has spent a lot of time in getting his chops up. Lance's playing is not for those looking to relax on a Sunday afternoon, but rather for those wanting some high intensity music.

Downloading Lance, thanks bro!

It found a nice home in my itunes library. I saw how someone posted some new music like this and I thought it was a really cool idea....so I'm doing it too. Thanks, Someone. :D

I'm in! Congrats Lance. I know how hard it is to actually finish something. I'm downloading it now.

That is SO true. I have tons of unfinished song ideas for a cd that I want to do, but it's so hard to find the time/energy/motivation/inspiration to get it done. Frustrating.
