Huff's #1 was a stock early 70s JMP 50.....to my memory at least. So that tone is goosed plexi circuit.

Cool tones in that amp for sure...and Mr Landry can play!

I have one! I can’t confirm how close it is to a Mesa or which model. I know he designed it with a more linear preamp and more American voicing. It’s still got a bit of Bill’s 80’s Marshall inspiration going. All I can say is it’s a cool amp. Landry makes killer amps, and he’s a great player. Very friendly.
