I never liked how the Langner circuit thinned out when you rolled off, if I needed less gain it was usually better to just back the gain back a bit (they have 10 metric shit tons of gain) and keep that rich juicy fatness.
Also I don't see a huge difference with the Hyper mod, its just a smidge more added to the unbelievable amount of gain it already has. The circuit seems a tad tighter for rhythm work without it (honestly)
