Awesome ! Thanks for posting that dude! Sad to see him in that video.

Yeah, it is sad to see Jimmy in that video.

But I am ANXIOUSLY awaiting the release of Heavy Crown, everything that they have shown from it has been great !!!

Boy, Jimmy looks pretty rough, sad to have him go.. RIP
I was backstage at a Dio show at Biloxi years ago, and was talking with Vivian when Jimmy came in with a really nice video camera and started asking a ton of really hot chicks "who wants to go make a movie?" I figured a couple would step up and join him...
He left with a dozen of them   There was only a few left in the room afterwards..
Vivian looked at me like I had just robbed him and proceeded to follow them out of the room without finishing our conversation
I was crushed, but understood completely :D

That is awesome..... the good ole days of Rock n Roll.  Now those good ole' boys are dying. For all the posers(I won't mention names), there were and are so many amazing musicians, good souls who ALSO had a damn good time out there. And in a way Im comforted that they went out a bit in their own way. Being a generation behind my influences... we will see more and more leave us too soon.... but hell.... they will be missed, revered, thought of. I can't say the same for the modern generation of swill that is out there 'thinkin' they are rockstars. Yep.... im officially old and talking like my father :D

Can't wait to get this also! I hope they continue.

They said they would move on honorably while respecting Jimmy... I hope they stay inspired enough to do so. For me, this music just hits me in the 'feels'. :)

Great stuff!!!! Definitely will be picking this up!!

I really like that one ... loving the singer

RIP Jimmy

Hope they continue also. That other band Vivian is in may take some time away from this though.

Crazy how the vocalists will make or break your track... if you have a great vocalist, everything is that much better. Andrew is unbelievable on this stuff and I really dig this new tune. I was a little underwhelmed by the lead and I wish they mixed it with a bit more delay and verb like the old days. Pops out a little too much up front for the type of music I feel. Anyway, a lot of people dying in their late 60's these days.... the life of a musician on the road must take it's toll.

All of the songs sound so good and the singer is great. I do think Ronnie's voice would have sounded phenomenal over those riffs though. Too bad Vivian and RJD never buried the hatchet and wrote songs together before he died. Those songs capture the feel of those old DIO songs. :)

that singer is awesome! he is not the DIO style which i prefer BUT can sing his ass off nonetheless!

Agreed.... There are flavors of RJD in there but he definitely adds his own style and cadence.... which is refreshing. Has that 'feel' without sounding like a 'cover band'. Andrew Freeman kills it... and he delivers live as well... which is big.

It's so nice to see Vivian finally do something apart from Def Leppard.

Yeah, it is refreshing to actually see (and hear) him PLAY guitar again.

Most DL fans probably view him as a "non-essential hired gun" to play Steve's old parts, and to play stuff for Phil to noodle over. I realize that he gets his moments in the spotlight, but as a long time fan of his playing, it seems like a bit of a waste (ala' Reb Beach in WS). BUT he is probably making a ton of money doing the background gig, and is obviously keeping up his real playing :D
