I know some of you guys have already tried this pedal and I'm late to game on this one. All I can say is "Wow!" what a great pedal. One of the best boosts I've had. I highly highly recommend this one. With the EP and my RC booster I have all my boost needs covered very well. Xotic makes some nice pedals.

I just asked someone in a PM what they thought this did for their sound.

my PM:
I know that the pedal is actually just causing a phase discrepancy and I also think has some boost available?

Can you describe what it does to your tone that you like?

I usually stray far away from anything that f$$$ks with my phase but guys really seem to like it.

I had been looking at the predecessor pedal that the EP booster idea was "borrowed" from for a while.

could you give me your thoughts...

I don't know about the phase discrepancy thing so I couldn't answer you there..... all I know is I dig what it does to my tone on both the clean and gain channel of my Renegade and has plenty of boost for what I want it for. Some guys are leaving it on all the time... I just like using it to boost my signal to get a bit "more" when I want it. It has a nice thick tone to it without being muddy. Top end stays nice with no extreme weird boosts or drops in certain frequencies.....it's kinda hard to put into words. I'd have to say you just need to try one for yourself.

Ejecta - can you compare it to the RC? I'm very familiar with that pedal, but want to hear in detail how the EP differs.

I'm aware that it's the boost from an echoplex, etc, etc... but what about the tone compared to an RC...

thanks man!

I just got the pedal last night and for the time I got to spend with both there was enough difference for what I wanted to use each for I'll be using both. Let me spend a bit more time going back and forth tonight and I'll post back.
