I put together a Musikraft Frankie northern ash body and kramer-style neck a while back and decided to paint it and attempt another relic. I used duplicolor acrylic laquer after sealing and priming the body. I laid down several coats of Ford off white that looked a little like Olympic white and then several coats of black. Since I was going to age it, I didn't bother laying down a clear coat. It's no luxxtone but it came out ok. I went a little overboard in some spots so I have a feeling this will be a work in progress:
