Alright - I know I've asked this before, but final time, I'm getting the 411 from Lava that their cable have the least capacitance and the smallest, lowest connector profile out of the bunch. Seems like a no brainer to me, I'm guessing Lava.

Your thoughts - and much appreciated...

Peace,
V.

I have used GeorgeL's forever and have found them to be easy to put together, great to use and highly reliable. I will continue to use GeorgeL regardless of what others say...

I have both. I can't hear a difference.

George L easier to assemble

LAVA less easy to assemble and I must be retarded because I have to redo half my assemblies to get them to work. They are a bit more secure and the right angle of LAVA allows pedals to be placed closer together than George L by about 1 cm.

My .02

I've used GL's for the last 15 years or so and have never had a problem. Great cables.

I'm assuming for pedalboard?

Been using George L's for years, never had a problem and they sound great.

Now go order your Vovox Sonorus :D

I use George L's Lava. They sound better than regular George L's for some reason. They're more clear. I dunno if it's magic solder or the G&H connectors, but this is my fav cable tone wise. The downside is that he only uses the .155, which is a pain in the ass because it's so stiff and coily. I tried a George L's made by best-tronics aka guitar-cable.com and it was muddy and smeared sounding by comparison. I tried another non-George L's by them and it was smeared as well. So now I avoid best-tronics.

My regular solderless George L's sound good too, but the Lava George L's are just a bit better...

Oh, and I'm talking about as a guitar cable, so maybe what I'm saying isn't worth much. I use cheap Hosa cables on my board and I think they sound good.

George L's here too. Wire up an entire pedalboard in 15 minutes? I'll take it.

George L's for me too.
I've been using them for over 3 years.
I'm constantly changing the configuration of my board and I've never had a problem with them.

In my experience, George L's have poor reliability in the solderless connectors. No idea how they compare to Lavas. My next cables are going to be roll/solder your own by buying parts from Reco, or possibly getting the Bill Lawrence kits which are a great deal for the number of connectors and length of cable you get. Very low capacitance, and they don't charge you an arm and a leg for additional connectors either.

Been using George L's for years in my racks and pedalboards and never had a problem. Every time I do cable shoot outs with people, the George L's always win :)
