As much as vocal talent is huge, stage presence is almost more important when playing out. The most popular/biggest drawing bands I’ve been in didn’t have the best lead vocalist; but they did have great presence.
They ran around like they owned it.

One of my faves ever. Freddy Mercury. Guy was super flamboyant. But hell if he didn’t bring it back then as well.

Yeah Weiland was great!!!!
Velvet revolver. Stp.
Not much glam there. Lot of drugs...,
But not much glam I remember

My time period was the late 70s into the 80s. So to me David Lee Roth was the GOAT. He created a lot of wanna be's during the hair metal era. Another guy love him or hate him that cant be overlooked is Axel Rose. Also a solid frontman that comes to mind is Sabastian Bach. Just a couple off the top of my head that were standouts from that time period.

Call me crazy but I really dig Zakk on Book of Sorrows and the Pride and Glory stuff. Also Ray Gillen's stuff with Badlands.

Mailman what's with you naming all these men. I thought you liked little boys.

First concert. Just like this. 85
