Left-Handed EVH Wolfgang - what is happening with the supply?!

Southpaw here.

Got an EVH Striped Frankenstien in Left-Handed orientation. Love that guitar. Pretty sure EVH is all I'll play from now on (to say nothing of the fact few manufacturers make any Left-Handed guitars). I just really dig the feel, the playability and the refinement of the guitar.

I really want to get a MIM Wolfgang Special Left-Handed but they are all on backorder through every distributor. What gives? I'll drop $4K on a MIA Wolfgang for sure but only after I am certain I like the feel of the model. I know supply chains have been wonky since the Rona but COME ON! Plenty of right-handed guitars are still being procuded and new lines are being launched... but fender can't get on the ball and produce a few dozen Lefties? Ridiculous.

It's really a pain being a Left-Handed player. Desipite it being cooler and more KNOWN famous guitarists being Left-Handed than right, it's still so hard getting guitars. And even when we poor southpaws do get offered some axes they are usually only black... wait... I forgot...

...we can also get Left-Handed guitars in black...

...and there's black...

...and black...

...oh, and I forgot that we can purchase them in (wait for it)... BLACK...

Anyways, my grumbling aside. Does anyone know what's going on? Why is the EVH Wolfgang Special Left-Handed model still offered on EVHgear but they are ALL ON BACKORDER still (for over 2 years) with distributors?

Any insight would be great.

THANKS!
