Nice. I know it's a total newb question. Never done that before.

I can only hope you took advantage of the situation.

No worries. My silly former guitarist left his on standby at my house for a week. I was pissed just cuz I pay the electric bill. :)

I wish. Went up last night to put some laundry in and decided to dick around for about 10 minutes. Put it on standby as I forgot to close the lid on the washer. Went to bed.

Been there, done that! Nothing like waking up, going downstairs, and seeing the little light glowing - d'oh!

I've left mine on standby over weekends out of town multiple times. Never had a problem.

I've done that on purpose...after throwing in brand new tubes prior to a recording session...I wanted them to sit and get hot to "break in" as much as they could.

Did it make a difference?

Other than having tired legs from standing all night, no big deal.

Let that be a lesson to you: laundry and rock 'n' roll don't mix.

Doubt it, the tubes will only reach a set temperature and sit idle there. They won't get hotter the longer they sit with the heaters on.
