I'd like to run the Providence 80s in the loop of my Cornford Mk50H, but the loop is a tad hot, so I get some ugly overloading on the pedal and it doesn't sound clear anymore. If I use the loop with the M13, it sounds transparent and retains the tone of the amp.
I tried already the Ebtech Line Level Shifter to get the Signal from +4 to -10 and back from -10 to +4, and it works, but it takes away a lot of oomph as the return signal is quite a bit weaker than the direct one. Probably this is the case because the Ebtech is a passive unit.
Now I ran across this unit called "Lehle Parallel", and it does not only give you a Parallel Mixer, but also has independent Send and Return levels (like you can find on Rivera Amps for example).
Being a big fan of the Lehle relais quality (I have a Little Lehle wich is great), I was wondering if the Send/Return facilities in this pedal should give me a workable solution to adjust the loops of my different amps to any situation without sucking the life out of my tone. This box would also come in handy for my other amps, where I have similar issues, depending on the level I run them on.
Anyone used this pedal for a similar kind of setup?
