Dealing with my fourth one.

So, my dad was born, (seventh child), with only three muscles that go across the groin area below the belly button, normally men have five.
I inherited this Trait, just three muscles.
This gives a lot of extra space for hernias to occur between the muscles… hence my multiple problems.
I have had three hernia operations and now I have a fourth that is just popped last week shovelling heavy snow.
This one is even yanking at my right nut, Never had one do this before.
…hurts like a bastard, stings and burns.

Any of you guys had one like this?!?

Old lead singer had a hernia he wouldn’t get fixed. Called it his 3rd testicle.

mine is totally different. had abdominal surgery to repair a hole in my esophagus. doctor split me open pretty good. 3 retention sutures and almost 40 staples and who knows how many stitches later...it was pretty bad. anyway I developed an incisional hernia. Doc said 30 t0 45 minute surgery.....8 hours later and 3 sheets of mesh they finished. destroyed my quality of life. cannot do anything for longer than 15 minutes....sitting, standing, laying down or walking......hurt all the time...can't sleep...you name it...and it popped open in another spot and I have to get laid open again. I'm putting it off as long as I can.

I reckon @itsme might've got lucky with his mesh.

Almost every time I meet someone who's had one put in it's a sad story of never-ending hassles. :dunno:

it's constant nik....I wear this wrap all the time. just miserable. luckily I was able to make it to retirement. I also hate to complain because it could always be worse. There's people burying their kids or parents today.....what right do I have to bitch about a hernia? Still fuckin sux donkey balls though...

I actually had the mesh put in for all three of my hernia surgeries…
It worked very well, but what I should’ve done is just got them to mesh my whole freaking groin area to stop anymore, LOL

That's rough man. Sorry you and JBT are dealing with that shit. Hopefully they can at least get you fixed up tip top ASAP.

Good news, saw my Hernia Surgeon this morning and I have a severely torn groin muscle. Never had this before?
I was very suspicious because it burns and stings much like my past hernias.
I tell ya, when I hit 50, everything started to slide…
It’s like, before I do anything now, I have to take that extra second and think…
If someone asks me to help them move, I have to think real hard… ?
Hope you are all having a great week!
