Yeah, he's always ripped. Great tone and chops. Doesn't seem to matter what he plays either. EVH on the blue channel with a lowly Boss turbo distortion? He makes it sound killer.

Saw them in Orlando on this tour a few weeks ago. Had the chance to talk with him before the show. Very down to earth. Was playing thru a 5153 100w head into a 5153 4/12 behind the stage. Seen them several times and they are one of the best live shows you can see this day and age.
