Hi everybody

a new library of great sounds is out.
It includes pitch effects... so the PCM80 will need the Pitch Card to load them.
The PCM81 already has pitch algorithms on board, so no problems.

There are several highlights in this library:
-a wealth of classic PCM70 modulation/delays combo efx, including spectacular multivoice chorus/flangers/delays and modulated delays
-some nice psycho-acoustic tricks, including static (spatial expansion) and dynamic Haas efx and some Center/Sides delays bouncing and dlys/verb alternating from Center to Sides in time with music
-some new outstanding reverbs, ranging from Air Injector for your D.I. recordings to Humongous and Wide spaces
-PITCH FX ! ! !
a bunch of Eventide classic fx, including Shimmer and Crystals
-Holdsworth's Metal Fatigue riff of doom shifters
-Holdsworth's swelling octaves as used on his clean chordal work
-tons of pads, from synth-like to symphonic shifters and reverb
-great reverbs using micropitched early reflections for ultra fat ambience
-Eno's GTRS, Jurassic Tone and Gotham Ghost are something you have never heard...
-some bonus stuff like Led Zeppelin "No Quarter" swirlingFX and a replica of Lexi PCM42s to die for!

Enjoy streaming MP3 or downloadable 24/96 AIFF audio clips here:

I'd love a nice set of vocal presets.
An idea for library 3 ??
The unit is too complicated to program for a simple guitarist who sings >>> LOL

Many of the presets in both Libraries are great for vocals too.
Next one will be dedicated to Lexicon Vintage sounds, from the 224XL, the 480, The PrimeTime and Super Prime Time delays, and the LXP1.

Lots of vocal stuff from all 3 libraries...

Sounds great... when all 3 are done you should make a library of those presets that are best suited to vocals and make a dedicated set available.
The PCM81 is too slow to change patches to use as a live guitar effects unit.
That was the reason I bought mine but they neglected to tell me how slow it was.
Makes a lovely, if complicated vocal processor though.

You can use it live..no problem. I have for 15 yrs.
You have to use some MIDI tricks instead of changing presets.
You can contact me to select the presets that best fit your needs.
Please use my website email here:

When you say " MIDI tricks " what do you mean ?
My current processor is the TC G major which has been ok but has been repaired 3 times in 5 years !

Well...the 2 units can't even be compared sound_wise.
Using MIDI CCs you can turn internal fx on and off or even change parameters so that an effect changes the way it sounds.

WAY too complicated for a hobbiest like myself, but thank you.

I might look into the preset libraries once you've completed the third with a view to assembling a set for vocals.

Very nicely done sir
Those gliding delays are amazing. I listened to all the clips, the sound is fantastic.

Thanks J.
Yes, the gliding delays are really nice. Their chorus or flanger is unique.

cheers
