Tesla is touring , is it without that dude or with him. original topic says former. whats up with that?

Tommy was a founding member and played and toured until 2006 with Tesla - When he left the band. He has since recorded 2 solo records and is putting together a tour this year to promote his record, "Brand of Metal". He has recorded with Lickliter amplifiers and I am building a 50 watt combo to his specification. It will be a hi-gain 50 watter similar to a late 70's modded Marshall with a master volume.

Wait a minute.. who ripped it up in the Paradise solo? I vaguely remember looking at the liner notes where they show the solo trade offs (lol so 80's, loved that) and I thought I saw Tommy in there... if so, he was rippin back then. Now yeah, some "minor" signs of substance abuse. I'm sure he's a great guy though.

Amp sounds good .Don't really care for Tommy . He comes off as being kinda drunk .reminds me of a Zakk drinking vid.

Its sad really these guys used to sell out arena's .I wont base his current playing on a demo vid .but if thats the calibre of player he is now, really Most of the guys on here could probably outplay him

it shouldnt make anyone sad that he no longer packs arenas. Things change. We change, get older, lose or gain talent. things change. He just needs to reinvent himself. Looks like hes got some solo stuff out. At least he aint killed himself like so many..

I've seen Tesla many a time and watched the guys trade solos....it's epic....also seen Tesla with only Frank and the new dude (Dave?) .. not so good but then times changed and so have I.

..like DeGarmo/Wilton....the sum of the parts is bigger than the individual.

Bottom line....Tommy is a killer player and good on both sides for the endorsement deal.
