Like the Aldrich's in my Les Paul, but

looking for just a little less "hair" on the tone, and a tighter low end.

Thinking possibly Rebel Yell's......anybody compared the two?

SSH. Or SSH+. Suhr pickups have a unique sound/feel.....as with other manufacturers.

For example, I don't like DiMarzios for anything besides cleans and leads. Duncan, Suhr, and Gibson are the only pickups I've liked for Rhythm playing. Not a fan of BKP at all; love the clarity, but lacks width IMO. Almost like a boost.

I put the RY in my LP and contrary to what most are saying, I loved them. I don't think they are as hairy as the Aldrich.

Never tried the Aldrich or Rebel Yell...but I REALLY love the Nailbombs in my Les Paul. I "believe" the Rebel Yell started as a Nailbomb and was tweaked to create the Rebel Yell...but I could be wrong.
