Just curious if any of you had the opportunity to check it out today, and if so, what are you thoughts?

Thanks

Before the bashing begins, I used a SpiderValve mk1 when I was playing lead guitar for a singer song writer's band. I never got so many compliments on my tone from sound men and he audience than with that amp.

Really versatile and got some great tones when dialed in correctly

Can't find any demos, but I'd imagine that will change in the next day or two.

I do agree, it is ugly

Looks like a Borg Cube.

Seems cool to have sitting in the bedroom or beside the sofa just to practice or jam. I could see getting one. Great for the person who can't afford an Axe FX or those who don't like the Axe Fx. The layout on the iPad looks easy to use and navigate. No its not going to replace my Bogner 20th X or Mk III,1x12 or 4x12 cabs. sort of has a tone matching thing going on, how nice would it be to run a song through an Axe FxII and have the album tone   Line 6 has it going on, just wondering how much of a game changer Yamaha is going to make with them?

Sounds kinda shitty to me.

It actually a pretty decent sound through good headphones or my Bose speakers. It wouldn't replace my AxeFx or Kemper, but it looks like a fun unit, and super easy to use.

Thanks Chris,

That really has piqued my curiosity......

Me too, but as with all things L6, I think I'd want to check it out personally before I start shopping for one. Cool concept. And the haters are out with torches and pitchforks! Evidently, L6 markets too well - the butt-hurt disappointment is off the charts on this release. Everyone had their mile long wish list out, and as soon as every last molecule of WANT wasn't fulfilled, L6 became the shittiest company on the planet overnight. *sigh*

Granted, I'm judging the tone based on this single demo. But from this demo (which was put out by L6 I think), the dirty tones still have that signature Line 6 fake sound to them.

Kudos to L6 for making such a cool interface for the product. But from the demos I've heard, the BIAS app sounds much better.
