Line 6 G50 wall wart question

The manual says to only use the line 6 power supply. I have a Cioks power brick that has enough mA to support it. Will I cause any harm not using the original power supply for the receiver? Or loose any signal strength or tone?

I'm not familiar with the cioks but the g50 takes a standard 9v supply at a little over 400ma so if it will supply that much current you should be fine. If it doesn't you won't hurt it, it just might not work right.

yep, as long as you match the voltage, type (AC or DC), polarity and ma you should be fine. I think I've powered mine with a onespot even.

Thats what I figured. It says 9V 300 mA
