I took a chance on one of these since i never played it. I had heard these reverb pedals were great for the money and one of the best pedals that Line 6 made. My opinion isn't too different. I like reverb and delay a lot and this pedal really does sound good. I'm using it in my effects loop and it works great, no volume drop off and no tone suckage that i can tell. It's got 11 different types of reverb and the ducking mode on it works really good.

I was happy that it worked in the loop since i like verb and delay only in the loop. I have the Nova delay but i see no reason to spend $250 on the TC Electronics reverb since the Verbzilla can be bought used for under $100.

Never heard it. Though I likethe ability to use a battery with the verbzilla - though I'm sure they don't last too long if it's anything like the other tonecore pedals.

BTW - I have the Nova delay, reverb and modulator. I got the delay and reverb new for $200 shipped for each of them. Paid full price for the mod since I didn't want to wait.

please post some settings you dig.

i got one a couple of weeks ago... $108 from musician's friend. I think it's a great pedal

I love the octo setting when on the clean channel of the amp.. it's like a completely different instrument

i've only tried it in the loop and haven't put it out front.

after using it, i really don't feel like i need a delay pedal unless i want to do some u2 stuff with the two of them together

great pedal

I like mine too, and it even sounds good in front of the amp. I have used if before a Fender Champ, Fender '67 Bassman, and in the loop of a Marshall 2553. It has performed well in all cases. I like the '63 spring and plate settings.

The pedal is darn heavy and is a power hog. It takes 60mA. That is double my analog delay, which eats batteries pretty fast. Best get an adapter if you have one.

Anyway I was pleasantly surprised with the verbzilla, especially since I don't like line 6 products much in general.....

They are addictive those Nova pedals, aren't they? I have the Delay and also just ordered the Modulator, will have it in 2 days I guess...

it is a great verb pedal. no tone/volume suckage unlike the EHX White Noise, er, i mean Holy Grail.

i actually run mine out front in the ducking mode. works great for that more lo-fi, old school sound.

Cool to hear you like that pedal Danny, been thinking about that one.

A reverb pedal is really the only other pedal on my want list.
I was looking into the Verbzilla, the Marshall Reflector and a used Boss RV. Just haven't pulled the trigger.

It's a cool pedal for the supersoak. A million times better than the stock reverb tanks on the Boogies.
