going to be getting a regular guitar line mixer ...RJM Mini Line Mixer or Xotic Stereo Blender ...not sure which yet ...also, trying to figure out, if possible, could i use a regular rack line mixer, to mix two distortions together before front of amps? ...or combine a chorus, flanger and phaser all together parallel style maybe? ...i have been experimenting like this through my PreSonus Studio Live 16.4.2 ...been assigning channels to one of the sub outs ...but not to mains, or monitors ...then running cable from one of the board's sub outs into front of amp ...really been getting some awesome results! ...i don't wanna have to haul that thing around too ...but i am getting kinda spoiled on the sound of this setup ...even thinking of this being "my sound" from now on ...not sure where to go from here though, as far as something quality, that won't add noise, or degrade signal, or break the bank, but fit in rack? ...any ideas? ...need input :)

also other reason behind idea was, I liked mixing totally clean, and little bit of distortion on clean channel in parallel ...sparkle-grit :)

Rane , Korg, and Rocktron all made rackmount mixers for guitar racks that would work...or CAE makes one. RJM too. Suhr also I think...

looked at quite a few ...Alesis MultiMix 8 looks like it would work for me :) ...pretty sure I want RJM Mini Line Mixer also

thanks mentoneman, very cool vid, spendy and very nice rig! ...I read Meshuggah rig rundown ...they use a Rocktron line mixer :)

There's a Rane SM26 splitter/mixer on Boston Ma CL for 100 bucks...Yngwie used to use one in his Bradshaw rack years ago...

thinking about routing, over all plan to be able to go in series with certain pedals, and still have option to be in a parallel with same ...for instance for solos I have Damage Control first, then ISP Theta then i go to a front of a couple amps ...but then I run those also into the Rockman then into mixer to another amp ...so my dilemma is, I want Theta and Damage Control through line mixer in parallel for some rhythm stuff ...sure there is way, having RJM Mini Line Mixer and also regular line mixer, plus my RJM Rack Gizmo ...also planning on getting MXR Full Bore Metal pedal ...friend has one ...I messed around with it ...I don't like into a clean channel ...but if you turn gain on amp down, and full bores too got some pretty good tones ...want it in line mixer ,in parallel, along side of normal verse settings, being able to engage it for a chorus lift ...anyways, just thinkin out loud

I think Bradshaw's switching systems are what you really need...they have the ability to do series/parallel then you sum it with the mixer...
