I was thinking it would be cool to have a list of common mods and a short description of each mod for reference for new members. I know of some of the easy ones like the BE, the HBE, and the C45. However, Full Clean, JBE, etc., have me stumped. I think it would really help to avoid repeat questions on the subject and help new customers decide which mods they would like on their amp. If it isn't too much trouble, list what mods are/aren't compatible with each other.

Just a thought. :)

BE- Basic crunch overdrive. Anything from classic rock to vh territory. It has about double the gain of say a stock 800/ jmp. Can get all sorts of plexi tones but has the ability of more gain.

C45- Similar to the BE but with a slightly smoother tone and just a tad more gain. Really just a different voicing.

HBE- adds a extra gain stage to the BE. Sort of like the BE was being pushed with a pedal. Gobs of gain with still retaining the British voice.

SAT- Is a diode clipping circuit. Adds gain sort of 80's metal kind of thing. Mainly to be used with the BE channel.

JBE- to be used with the SAT and the BE shifts the low end to a lower frequency and make the tone heavier .

FAT- adds more lows to the preamp. Good for strats and tele's.

Effects loop- well self explanatory .

SIMPLE CLEAN- single knob clean with no eq and a bright switch. Sort of like a normal channel of a Vox. Presence still works with the clean.

FULLCLEAN- Clean with a full eq in the blackface vein.

SWITCHING OPTIONS- to many to list contact me about this.

Sweet! Thanks, Dave!

Is the full clean part of the kitchen sink?

No, but you can add it for additional $. Same goes for the simple clean. ;)

Very cool Dave...you forgot the MOD mod though. Seems to me that it scoops the mids a bit.

Yeah its a slight voicing change. I don't really do it much.

Best descriptions I've seen yet. This thread needs to be a Sticky.

Yeah there is the fat. I don't do it that much though.

Just to elaborate on the switching options.
I have a second master control and seperate gain, which is like having another channel. From memory it is relatively cheap too, about the same price as a Boss pedal.

Is the full clean foot switchable? Or does it have its own input? If so can you run an A/B box and switch between the 2 inputs for clean and dirty?
