First of all, thanks for the help in my last thread cause it was indeed the wrong input I was using. I did need to use the line level in input
So first I recorded Guitar through amp and recorded via dual mics. into preamp into soundcard.
Then I played the same riff but recorded my dry signal through little labs redeye and reamped the dry signal and recorded via same setup as above. All settings / mic positions are ofcourse the same.
Reamp'ed version has a significant gain loss somewhere in the chain. It seems I'm still not doing something right. Or maybe this is what's supposed to happen? I could live with it if the difference wasn't day and night. Anyone reamping and having this problem?
The real question is this : isn't reamped version supposed to sound EXACTLY the same?
So.. let me know what you think. Also, I'm still hearing some hiss
