Here's a video of my band, Electric Hawk, from our record release show back in December.
My amp is a '67 Marshall 100 watt Super Trem that has been modded to a Lead circuit (it was originally a Bass circuit).
There is no master volume. Everything is on 10. I always run it with a Variac around 117 just in case what's coming out of the wall is too much.
The Wizard below it was my backup that night, but has become my main amp.
Lemme know what you think. I hope you dig hearing the amp as much as I love playing it.

great job man

it's like i try to explain, you really don't need heavier than that plexi tone to get the point across!

Thanks! Glad you dug it.
I'm baffled every time I hear or read someone say that plexis aren't very gainy. You just have to not be afraid of some volume. Or have a good attenuator. And then, a beautifully chimey and rich clean sound is just a twist of your volume knob away. A good plexi is the perfect amp.
BTW: I've been a fan of your YouTube videos for a while now. Excellent playing and tones.

Nice video! One of the better plexi tones I've heard so far.

Man.
Thanks, guys.
If anyone would like to check out our disc, I'll give a free download to any Rig Talk members.
Just send me a message with your email address.
We also have CD's, vinyl (which sounds shockingly better than the CD), and shirts for sale as well.
Again, thanks for the nice comments.
Take care,
mike

Really? Nobody wants a free download?

Nothin' like a vintage plexi to get me going in the morning. You guys sound great.

Really? Guys.....free download. The whole CD. It's really good. And I'm not just saying that because it's my band. Well....OK. Maybe I am. I'd still listen to it if i had nothing to do with it's creation. Lemme know. I'm happy to spread it around.
Take care,
burns

Very cool. It kinda reminds me of a rush song or something from way back when I was young.. LOL.. I'm 52. I dig the tone though man. I've always liked a plexi. You said it though, you have to crank it, but it has that tone that is just hard to beat if you do ! Thanks so much. Very cool..
Tim

How does one get the CD? Where to download? I'll try it!
Thanks
T
