EMG SA Loaded Warmoth Pearloid Pickguard. Reverse Slant Bridge Route. Volume and SPC / ‘Fat’ Control.
I’ve never made peace with the close position volume knob on a traditional Strat pickguard. So I had Warmoth custom cut this pickguard with the 2 lower controls only: traditional volume and EMG’s SPC control for convincing humbucker like fullness when you want it. You can easily locate the third control hole and add the EMG EXG control for the full-on David Gilmour set-up.
The reverse slant bridge moves the pickup forward on the unwound strings for a warmer tone and back for tighter bass on the low E and A strings.
Very clean, very nice condition - literally plug-n-play.
NOTE: High E side of bridge opening was modified for clearance with a Hipshot Bridge that was just a touch wider than a standard Fender trem. See primary photo.
