Budda Superdrive 30
Bogner Metropolis

ah yeah Budda, didn't think of those for whatever reason, the bogner slipped my mind too, thanks

I've got a Peavey Classic 30... Yes, a Peavey. Circa '96 I think. Swapped out the driver for a Celestion Alnico Gold, did a slight mod to the circuit via Ho at Ho's Electronics in Vancouver (no jokes gents, the guy's a wizard), and put some top drawer glass in 'er.

Finest sounding little combo I've heard for cleans, grit and that pushed-to-breakup tone. And not nearly as expensive as many of the other options you'd posted.

2 cents,
Mo

check also brunetti wizard and what about the Mesa Boogie Lonestar special.

Matchless Chieftain, Clubman, or C-30 Series.

Odd to not see Vox mentioned yet...the granddaddy of 30w class A amps

Why don't you put the Cornford Hellcat on your list. 35 watts, cathode bias, channel switcher, reverb and gain up the wazoo. Really cool, and fun, amp.

Best one I've ever played!

High quality stuff here, and they sound amazing! Out-vox'd the vox!
