I have a good friend who has a Diamond Memory Lane 2 at my studio at the moment, I was tinkering with it the other night, it is fantastic. Full analog, will do anything from normal stuff, to full oscillation meltdown with sweeping the right knob. cool piece

+1 Diamond makes some amazing pedals!

They do...it just doesn't work well for this application, imo. Neither does my Empress.

Ill try my timefactor through the front and let you know how good it sound!

moog 104z in front..in back..in the loop..the king lives!!..long live the king!

Anyone else besides me looking into getting a Digitech Digidelay? If an experienced, ripper like George says it works in front...... well I don't need much more recommendation that that.

I will have to airbrush a cool, boutiquey sort of name onto it. I can't own something that says Digitech on it. Plus I'll have to put a piece of latex over the pedal so when I step on it I won't get a rash.

Yeah it's not cool at all to have a generic run of the mill pedal anymore....

Yeah, I picked up one of these bad boyzzz since Geo posted his vids.......does work really good out front! But, since I'm not playing out any more.....I can get away with not covering it up in the upstairs music room.......

If you get a Boss DD3 make sure you find a "Big Chip" made in Japan version not the newer made in Taiwan one.

The T-Rex Replica sounds killer wherever you put the thing but it's pricey.

I like it a lot, don't get me wrong.
I went through a delay phase this winter and bought a ton if them....they just all sound like ass in front of my plexi. :(

While there are certainly exceptions to where a delay should be placed, I would strongly recommend placing delay after an amp's distortion(fx loop), or after od/distortion pedals if your gain is from your pedals.
Delays just don't sound smooth or nice in front of gain.

They do sound good before clean sounds however.

MXR's analog delay sounds great in the loop of Marshalls or pretty much any amp that I have heard.

i've only used teh roland space echo pedal infront of amps and i LOVE IT!!

i find running it infront of distortion make it sound a tad more analog
