I gave my son an old cedar top Seagull acoustic a couple years ago and now he is going to start playing at some youth events at the church he works at. What would be a good recommendation for something that is easy to use but sounds good?

I am not familiar with acoustic pickups at all, but the Dimarzio Black Angel looks pretty decent. LR Baggs stuff looks great but no need for anything that crazy in this situation.

I would say LR Baggs, ?. I know they are a bit pricey, but I installed the anthem in my acoustic and it’s amazing! I do believe they have the lyric, which is just a microphone that sticks on the inside under the bridge. Those look pretty amazing as well. The anthem does have a more stripped down version that’s called the SL. A little cheaper and not as much adjusting for tone.

Not sure about a lot of the other options as I haven’t played a ton of them. I would say something like a fishman is a safe bet.
