Looking for a new axe...opinions welcome!!

ESP eclipse, Les Paul look, cheaper than a lot of other suggestions, and probably in the 6lbs range.

If you can find a used Melancon, you cannot go wrong for less than 2k. After speaking with Phil at Philtone guitars I will never buy another Gibson. They have no clue how to use their Plek machines. Phil makes a living fiixing Gibsons. He has been to the factory and witnessed the techs using the Plek and was appalled. Phil is amazing.

Phil is amazing. I live about 20 minutes from him. He has Plek'd and set up all my guitars. :rock:
