Hey guys,

I currently have an FL Diezel 212 cab with V30's, and I just ordered a FL 412 Diezel with V30's as well and two K100's to try. I was looking for some creative ideas for any possible combinations of two different sized cabinets. I already plan on trying an X pattern in my 412, but i'm also looking for some other creative ideas I can do with two cabinets.

Also, just to plug an extra question in, what kind of differences would I notice moving to a 412 from a 212? I've done some research and found there is more bottom end, but is there anything else I can look forward to?

Any input would be appreciated!

I have a Mesa halfback metal grill 412 and an Avatar 212, both with Legend V12 speakers.

Differences that I hear...punchier midrange on the 412 lends itself better to live playing. 212 is a bit more scooped and has a bigger low end, and I find it especially great for recording. The 212 is nearly as big as the 412, so being an OS cab, it makes sense to expect more low end.

I also notice a slight volume difference between 2 speakers vs 4 speakers. Very slight.

I appreciate the input. That sounds something to look forward to, I like a punchy mid range

Bump: Would it be possible to pair my 212 and 412 cabs together with say...two tube amps and a selector? I'm curious as to what combinations I can pull off with two different sized cabinets.
