Love/hate for Jim Root Guitars?

I am not a slipknot fan, and cannot name one song. However, I have had gas for Jim Root Strats since playing one years ago. I have not played the jazz master. Any love or hate for these? I like the simplicity of these and The price point has remained somewhat constant, especially comparing to Eii guitars. There are no Jazzmasters nearby to try out, but I am intrigued. Worst case, I would swap out the EMGs for something else

Any experiences? Thanks

Played a usa strat for an hour. Nice enough, playing it cured my GAS and i didn't pull the trigger.
 
I had a Mexican Tele years ago and sold it. Really would like a new USA Start or Tele.
 
I played a Root Strat a few years ago, the neck was a bit bigger than I was expecting, much closer to a 50's Strat than anything modern. I could be remembering that wrong, but that's poppin' in my head now.
 
I have a Tele and like it but I no longer dig the EMG's. Jim has a new signature pickup coming out soon and I look forward to trying them.

I'd love to try a Jazzmaster... I LOVE the red sandblasted one he has.
 
all kinds of love for these. Love the tele. Wish they still made the white strat version...and even better if it had the ebony board on it too.
 
Had the Jazz, righteous guitar. Volume pot is in the PERFECT position.

Mild GAS for the black Strat.

Nice simple guitars.
 
I have the jazzmaster, great guitar. It's my second one, first one I had wasnt setup to my taste and I had an opportunity so I sold it. This one is set up perfectly. Not a fan of emgs really but they offer and different flavor to my usual so I haven't swapped them out yet.
 
No hate here. Have had a few of the teles, 1 JM, and 1 Strat. All were great guitars. Love them.
