Loving my PWE EH!!!!!!!!!!!

...and my Bogner. I was thinking I have too much and feel very fortunate to have a few of the best amps on the planet.

I have been all over the map lately trying to find my next amp but a big part of this has been me not being able to afford a 20th XTC which I have played a few times and absolutely love! I have a 20th Shiva that is king to me as well. I also use my BFG modified Dual Rectifier quite a bit, but that is a different animal.

I love my PWE

I was close to selling my Bogner, Mesa or PWE but they are all different, wonderful and each is very unique and worth having. I can't imagine better amps. I feel very fortunate.

Hard decision! The PWE is one of the best sounding amps I have played in 30 years, it is that good. I may bring it and my Bogner 212 to rehearsal next before I make the final decision.

I updated this post because the Event Horizon is ridiculous in how good it is......it is staying with me!

I owned a 20th Anniv XTC and it is my favorite tube amp. I want another someday as it delivered across the board and sat in a mix like nothing else.

Sorry guys. I know you all hate me and my posts. I hate being this way.
I have serious health problems that impact my brain.
I had Lyme disease and Babesiosis so bad it did damage to my immune system and I ended up with MGUS.
The MGUS puts me at a higher risk for blood cancer.
As a result I also have other issues, mental capacity declining, memory issues, fogy brain which I think ends up making me seem insane. My doctor says I have early dimensia and Alzheimer's.
I take medicine for the symptoms and the severe pain. The medications also mess with my mind. I am also high risk for cancer as mentioned above so I go to Fox Chase Cancer Center every few months for monitoring.
It is no fun, but it has a lit to do with why I am how I am.
I wasn't always like this. I hate that I jump back and forth and half the time don't recall what I did or said.
I keep notes all over the place just to keep my life in order somewhat.


One thing my doctors have said is the fact that I eat so well and work out regularly and have been into bodybuilding and power lifting, natural of course, that it has helped my body cope with the infection and disease.

Oh and loving music, guitar and gear doesn't help either.

In my travels I know I have upset and hurt some people and for that I am sorry. I am a good person and try to do my best and have not felt like myself in some time.

I am going to be taking a break from forums for quite some time. I need to clear my head and concentrate on my health, work and family. I have a 9 year old daughter who needs my time more than gear.

Nobody hates you, they're just being tongue-in-cheek. After all, what's the fun of a forum like this if it wouldn't for the flip-floppers, obsessive traders and GAS sufferers... It's always interesting to hear people's personal take on different amps and other music equipment.

Took my EH to my friend's studio for some recording. He is an older guy, big Marshall guy growing up, classic rock, VH and is in a few cover bands now, but used to do lots of original gigs. He said the EH is one of the best amps he has ever heard or played. That is a huge compliment coming from this guy. He is very finicky.
I have had a few friends ask to borrow it. I just tell them, they need to get their own. Ha.

^ Richiedie clearly stated he has physical/mental health issues. He doesn't owe anyone an explanation for flip-flopping on gear or changing opinions one day to the next. Give the guy a freaking break and keep the "private" in "private messages".

I know Rich quite well from the many emails I've received, and have also spoken with him on the phone on several occasions. His only 'issue' (like every liberal I've ever known) is that he is suffers from narcissistic personality disorder. His perpetual "...my PWE and Shiva amps are the best" posts are nothing more than 'bait' for a reply.

I don't have time for his BS - you obviously do.

Don't worry, I am not selling my PWE, Bogner or Rectifier. I love all three equally and am keeping each one. All three are fantastic companies!

I hope to add to the collections in the future though.

To make things worse, I just found out my best friend is in the hospital and doing well, heading to see him now.
